Managing international tools

zert
No. 1769 14.11.2012 -
15.11.2012
€ 640,00

Companies operating on an international basis implement their projects abroad with partners on-site and with multi-cultural project teams. Often the management faces problems especially regarding the control of organisational, personnel and technical resources when organising international projects for the first time. Lack of international experience, cultural differences and communication barriers increase the risks during the project. Also in Germany more and more often international project work becomes the rule e.g. by co-operations with foreign sub-suppliers or distribution partners or by increasing employment of foreign qualified personnel. All project teams have in common that they often have to fulfil novel and complex tasks. International project management is an appropriate intersectoral and interdisciplinary tool to manage external and internal projects successfully both at home and abroad.

objectives

The participants will know project management as an international standardised working method. They will understand the basic principles and possibilities and will be aware of problems, risks and limits of international project management.
