Techniques to take decisions and to solve problems

The participants will use working methods and techniques for efficient organisation of their work in order to take decisions in common and to solve problems. They will be able to process problems, to solve them basically and to take ensured decisions.

Involving techniques (Kepner-Tregoe, TRIZ, FMEA, ...)

Methods of problem processing
Description of a problem, methods of systematic search of causes, target and requirement criteria

Methods to develop alternative solutions
Possibilities to find solutions (creativity techniques, benchmarking, prognoses, ...), putting solutions in concrete terms and planning of measures

Preparing and finding decisions
Mathematical and subjective evaluation processes (risk analysis, portfolio analysis, more dimensional matrix, cost-benefit-analysis, probability-implication-analysis, ...), ensuring and assessing success

Optimization of one's own working and deciding technique
Analysis of the working and deciding techniques used so far with regard to usefulness and effect

Analysis of potential problems

Tipps and tricks to moderate problem-solving groups, quality circles, KVP-groups
