Andreas Behre and Werner Mohnert have been leading the institute of further education FRIEDRICHSBAD for more than eleven years. The psychologists offer seminars for executives, clerks or secretaries – of any branch.

Handling of difficult people or income tax law, business economics for non-merchants, time management – an extract of the seminars, which are offered by Werner Mohnert and Andreas Behre. The graduated psychologists are managing directors of the educational institute Friedrichsbad on the Werksstraße.

About 14 years ago Werner Mohnert (57) led a job interview with Andreas Behre (42). He hired him, for the Schwelmer Haus Friedrichsbad. When the educational institute closed in 1997, the two decided to work on an independent basis. "At that time we had 2500 customers on the distribution list", Mohnert remembers. Today there are 25 000 companies, which receive their programme regularly. The programme includes open seminars and in-house offers. For those the two psychologists develop a customised concept for a company.

The managing directors work for trade, forwarding companies, academies, industry, local authorities, savings banks or medium-sized companies. For VW, Thyssen or Miele. If secretary, clerk or executive. Their clients are customers nationwide. From all branches.

Seminars are planned in Hattingen, carried out among others in Dortmund or Velbert. The content is e.g. motivating managing behaviour or handling of criticism. What is close to the psychologists’ heart: Communication, leading of teams and cooperation.

Every year Friedrichsbad offers about 500 seminars in co-operation with 180 free-lancers: business economists, solicitors or pedagogues. In Hattingen they employ six people, temporary personnel and salaried: "We look for a chief clerk for the seminar office", Behre says, who lives in Bochum with his wife and his son. Behre has been member of the Zierfischverein Roter Rio for 20 years, and has got an aquarium himself. He also likes jogging. His business partner – who has meanwhile abandoned that – originally had the idea. In his professional career Werner Mohnert has changed: The born Saxon learned the profession of a locksmith after the Volksschule, caught up Mittlere Reife and Abitur and studied. For more than 20 years he has lived hat Welper together with his wife and his daughter – and found an alternative for the marathon: "I enjoy riding racing bike."
